 What is a Team Mom  or Dad?

A Team Mom is the vital link between the coaching staff, parents, and the league. You help keep the team organized, informed, and running smoothly throughout the season. Your support ensures a fun and successful experience for our players and families.

📋 Primary Responsibilities

1. Communication

• Create and manage a team contact list.

• Send out weekly reminders for games, practices, and league events.

• Relay updates from the league or coaches to parents quickly and clearly.

2. Game Day Support

• Organize snack or drink rotations (if applicable).

• Ensure players arrive on time and are ready to play.

• Assist the coach with team check-ins or scorekeeping (if requested).

3. Scheduling

• Help coordinate practice times with the coach and team availability.

• Track and distribute the game schedule to all parents.

4. Team Spirit & Unity

• Plan a few small events or celebrations (like an end-of-season party).

• Encourage positive support from the sidelines.

• Coordinate optional team apparel or banners (optional).

5. League Coordination

• Stay in touch with the FBBA league rep for updates and deadlines.

• Assist in collecting forms, waivers, or team photos when needed.

✅ Optional Duties

• Manage team fundraising or sponsorship efforts (if your team participates).

• Help the coach with uniform distribution.

• Create a photo album or keepsake for the season.
