Fort Bend Basketball evaluations are essential for determining the appropriate team placement for your child. These evaluations are designed to assess your child's basketball skills and ensure they are matched with players of similar abilities. During the process, all players within the same age group will participate in a series of simple basketball drills. These drills help our coaches and staff accurately gauge each player's strengths and areas for improvement. The results are then used to enter your child into our draft, ensuring they are placed on a team that will best support their growth and development in the sport.

Draft Day
FBBA's Draft day is a crucial event where coaches assess player evaluations to determine team assignments for the upcoming season. During this session, coaches review and score player performances to ensure fair and balanced team placements. This event is exclusively for coaches; parents and players are not required to attend. The scores collected will play a key role in shaping the teams, making it a significant moment for coaches to discuss and finalize player assignments based on their evaluations.

After the evaluations and draft process is complete. You will receive an email with your child's practice/game schedule for the entire season.
We will conduct an Orientation practice on Saturday Oct 19th.The Orientation practice time will be emailed to you and posted on the home page of this website.

Team up event
FBBA holds a special day to distribute team uniforms to league participants, creating excitement for the upcoming season. Players received their jerseys, uniting the teams in spirit and style. The event also included team photos, capturing the moment as everyone geared up for a memorable and competitive season ahead.

Once we complete the draft your child's team name will be be listed here along with the time for uniform pick up. Your child will be taking pictures in the uniform. Please come with sneakers.
Uniforms for 12-13 and 14-18 age groups will be handed out at the start of the first game.
